@cookiemonster1998201 Thanks for asking for a tutorial. Time plays a big factor (or lack of) whenever I make cupcakes
I will keep it in mind for next time.
could you maybe make some tutorials for your fondant covered cupcakes
Fantastic work Sarah, they are so detailed! You have such a talent. Thanks for sharing! xxx
Thanks
and it’s very kind of you to ask permission. You can go ahead and use the designs. Have fun!
Thank you
Thanks
Hi. These are lovely! I’ve been searching ideas for wedding cupcakes. I’ve to make cupcakes for my teacher’s wedding and I was wondering if I could use your design? These are awesome!
Rachel
These are fantastic, well done!
Wow they are soo cute .. I would definately have them at my wedding =) ..
Thanks Danielle
Not sure about putting Planet Cake to shame – I wouldn’t have dreamt of these cupcakes if it weren’t for their cute cupcakes!! I do use the planet cake recipe – it goes really well with choc cake – mmmmm!
Thanks Claudia!
You’re welcome. Sorry for the delay in replying. I use the recipe found in the Planet Cake Book (can’t post it due to copyright) – I’d highly recommend the book.
Thanks:)
Thank you
The ganache recipe can be found in Planet Cake Book (sorry cannot post it due to copyright). You should be able to find a recipe on the internet/YouTube if you can’t get hold of their book (I would highly recommend the book).
The cupcake is domed. I’m still a beginner when baking cupcakes and am still trying to work out how much to fill the paper case each time I do a batch!! Ideally I would like the edge of the cupcake to be very close to the paper rim but not bulging at the rim if that makes sense. I don’t refrigerate the cupcakes once they’re ganached and iced as the fondant would get tacky. Hope that helps.
Is the cupcake “domed” on top? It’s kind of hard to tell if the fondant is “domed” or flat. How high do you let your cupcakes rise above the paper rim?
Also, does the ganache need to be refrigerated after they are decorated?
Thank you:)

So clever! They look great:)
Do you share your ganache recipe?
Thank you:)

Too cute!
Sarah these look so great, putting Planet Cake to shame
Well done.
Do you use the planet cake ganache recipe? I have a couple of friends who really dont like buttercream but they loooove the ganache! Hope you’re well.

ohh sarah!! so nice cupcakes, they are so cute, Graet job!
oo thanks for the tip, i’m making cupcakes for the first time this weekend, may try ganache instead. What recipe do you use if you don’t mind me asking?
Thanks:) Yes, you can use buttercream. In fact when I started cake decorating I used buttercream, but I found that I preferred the taste of ganache, and better still ganache also fills in gaps and holds its shape better than the type of buttercream I used.
can you use butter cream to cover the cupcake instead of ganache?
btw they are lovely, i really like all the details especially the veil. well done!
ok thanks
Thanks Laura:) My friend really loved them, so they were a great gift to give away.
