Im getting married 11-11-11 and I wanted to know how soon are you suppose to have the "Bridal Shower"? Is Spring Break to early? 3-14-11 to 3-18-11

Probably, most bridal showers are thrown a month or so before the wedding. Also, as the bride, your only involvement in the shower is to give a guest list to who ever is coordinating and planning the shower, and to show up. Generally the MOH and bridesmaids throw the bride a shower, but other people can as well. It is poor etiquette to have the mother or any close relatives of the bride host a shower--since the purpose of a shower is to "shower" the bride with gifts, it's seen as a gift grab. Make certain also that who ever is invited to the shower is also invited to the wedding, because it is considered very impolite to invite someone to your shower that you wouldn't invite to the wedding. The shower is supposed to be for the people who are closest to the bride, so obviously they would already be invited to the wedding.
There is nothing that says you can't have a shower in March, but you'd be better off even waiting until August or September. If school schedules are an issue, then I'd suggest seeing if you can have one before school starts, which around KC is the middle/end of August, and of course, it depends on what side of St. Line you're on. KS starts back a good week before the MO schools do.

I live in Kansas City too!! Anyway, yes I think that the date you have would be too early for the bridal shower. At least a month before the big day and some people even have it the week before they get married. Good luck!!!!
